About Us
RML Community Partners CIC was formed by members of a highly successful Business Team that worked in the Government funded POPP project in North Sussex between 2008 and 2010. The project was focused on development work for groups and organisations that worked towards the benefit of older people, aged 60 and over. The business team was responsible for all aspects of commercial and funding support to these organisations in North Sussex and was part of a network of POPP projects across the UK.
RML was legally incorporated in September 2010 the founding members being, Roger Goodway, Matt Roberts and Lynne Witheyman, its creation driven by a clear need for high class consultancy identified within the POPP project.
All three had, independently, taken the decision to previously leave their existing areas of work and utilise their skills and experience to the benefit of others, specifically within the business, charity, voluntary and support group sectors.
RML aim to become an established enterprise that provides a long and dedicated service to SME business, social enterprises and the Third Sector through the delivery of affordable, professional, accessible business, funding and planning support for all.
RML is incorporated as a Community Interest Company, a CIC is a company that can generate profits but those profits must be re-invested as much as possible to support its stated social remit.
